DESCRIPTION:
The Rock & Roller is the choice for Epic XC, Marathon / Endurance and XC Stage Races. Epic Shield Protection provides both a full bead to bead protection layer and sidewall reinforcement built into the fabric of the tyre carcass whilst maintaining a low weight and Race standard tyre setup.
The Rock & Roller features a double set of central tread blocks which are elongated in the direction of travel to provide consistent contact with the terrain. This optimises the tyre for speed when on fire roads and hardpack. The Intermediate tread blocks are angled to provide excellent handling when cornering and to provide a gradual transition to the now iconic, MSC Sawtooth side tread. This alternating height side tread with detailed sipes and cutaways provides whole new levels of cornering traction for a Cross Country tyre.
